Third Drawer Down and The Museum of Art Souvenirs Store

“A place in indy Fitzroy where artists from around the world can express themselves in the most peculiar way possible”.

This is no ordinary museum kids. Third Drawer Down is a storefront museum and place of trade in Fitzroy, Australia. It houses some of the greatest and quirky pieces of art we have ever seen. Not only are we impressed by its niche pieces and reasonable price tags however, it is also Australia’s first and only trading museum. Their eccentric….and what some might say ‘rude’ pieces (it takes a lot to shock us) are made by artists and designers from all around this magnificent globe. This “pushing the boundary” museum, definitely reflects what the wise Australian artist Sir William Dobell once said “A sincere artist is not one who makes a faithful attempt to put on to canvas what is in front of him, but one who tries to create something which is, in itself, a living thing.”
